The Southern Gold Coast has some great live music venues. Check out:

The Coolangatta Hotel - The ‘Cooly’ Hotel is considered one of the best live music venues in Australia, it also has a fresh new menu, gaming, retail outlet and of course some of the best sea views in Australia as its situated right on the beachfront at Coolangatta.

The Sound Lounge in the Currumbin RSL, is located on Currumbin Creek Rd and overlooks the estuary. The 300 capacity lounge not only offers fantastic live acts, it's also a great place to have dinner and a drink before the show. Past acts that have appeared here include Sarah Blasko, Angus & Julia Stone, Washington and Ash Grunwald.

You can also check out Currumbin Creek Tavern and Southern Cross Tavern, Plus The Patch and Never Land, both in Coolangatta.

There are also many cafe's and restaurants that have live music for you to enjoy while having a bite to eat. Check out places like Elephant Rock Cafe and Bread & Butter.
